Garden Camping

It’s the summer holidays and the children are constantly looking for activity. I am a great believer in not spending lots of money to keep them occupied.

Last weekend was a hive of excitement as we decided to put the tent up in the garden. We invited a few friends to join us, had a bbq and made a campfire for later on in the evening. The kids loved every minute of it!

To make it a special occassion we covered the garden with bunting, bought marshamallows for toasting and made lots of snacks for late night feasting.

The garden had a holiday feel and the kids and adults were all happy. The tent has stayed up all week and has been a great source of fun, the starter for many games and a wonderful place to chill out when they need a bit of space.
